The FOGAIBA, (Fondo de garantía agraria y pesquera de las Illes Balears – Balearic Islands Agricultural and Fisheries Guarantee Fund) has recently published, in August 2024, a decree of aid to promote the “Development of gastronomic tourism and wine tourism experiences” in our islands.
This aid will be available to companies owning a farm, associations, regulatory councils, agricultural cooperatives, or members of agri-food quality brands (Indicación geográfica – Geographical Indication, o Denominación de origen – Designation of Origin). The total budget allocation is 937.500 euros for 2024.
The following actions will be subsidised with up to 75%:
1. Adaptation and equipping of spaces for visits, and product tastings.
2. Creation or adaptation of digital platforms for the dissemination and marketing of gastronomic experiences.
3. Creation of specific content for the promotion of the farms on digital platforms. For example, audiovisual material.
4. Design, edition and dissemination of promotional material in diverse formats.
5. Study and design of enogastronomic products and experiences.
6. Communication and dissemination actions of these experiences.
The actions to be subsidised will be those carried out between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2025, although applications for aid must be submitted by 31 December 2024.
